The rules
Take Over the World is a war game: attacking, betraying an ally, surprise strikes and taking someone's capital are all part of it. What isn't allowed is cheating and being cruel to real people.
Play fair
- One commander per person. Don't make extra accounts to help yourself. Friends at the same school or home can all play; trades between accounts on the same network have to be fair (each side worth at least half the other's), so nobody can feed a second account.
- No bots, scripts or auto-clickers. Play with your own hands.
- Found a bug that gives you an edge? Report it, don't use it. Using bugs on purpose gets you banned.
- Don't try to break or overload the game's servers.
Be decent to real people
- Names (commanders and nations) can't be rude, hateful or about real people. Bad names are changed or banned.
- No harassment, bullying, hate or threats in chat, envoys or names. War in the game is fine; going after the person isn't.
- Never share personal information: not your real name, school, address, phone, social media or photos, and not anyone else's. The game never asks where you live, and you shouldn't tell anyone.
- No real-world threats, and nothing sexual, ever.
What happens if you break them
Admins look at every report. Depending on what happened: a name is changed, or the commander is banned. A banned commander can't sign in, and their towns go back to their own people.
Report someone
Click any leader's name to open their profile, then Report. Say what happened in a few words. Reports are private: the person you report isn't told who sent it.
