Privacy
Short version: no email, no real name, no location, one small ad, no tracking companies, nothing sold.
What we keep
- Your commander: its name and colour, and everything it does in the game (towns, armies, trades, messages to other leaders). Other players see what any leader would see in the game.
- Your account key, scrambled (we can check it, not read it). The key itself lives in your browser; save it to sign in somewhere else.
- A scrambled fingerprint of the network you signed up from (not the address itself), only to stop one person feeding a second account. It can't be turned back into an address or a location.
- Error reports: when something breaks in your browser, the error message and the page, so we can fix it. Nothing about who you are.
- Counts: how many people played each day, signed up, fought battles. Numbers, not people.
- Time played: which days each account played, and for how many minutes the game was open on screen, so we can see whether players come back. Kept with your account name, never with where you are.
What we don't
- No email, phone, real name, age, school or address. The game never asks.
- One small ad in a corner on computers, from Google AdSense, which pays for the servers. We ask Google for non-personalised ads only (not based on what you do on other sites). Google may still use cookies to count views and stop fraud: see how Google uses data in ads. No other tracking companies (no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel).
- We never sell or share data.
- Starting in a real town doesn't mean you live there, and the game never links a commander to a real person.
Your browser
The game stores your sign-in and a few settings (like whether you've seen the tour) in your browser's storage. Clearing it signs you out; your account key signs you back in.
Kids
Many players are teens. Because we don't collect personal information, the game works without it. Don't share yours with other players (see the rules).
Where it's kept
On the game's servers (Render, in the United States). Error reports and daily player counts are deleted after 30 days.
Draft, October 2026: to be reviewed before the game's full launch.
